Timothy Ray "Tim" Arledge

Mr. Timothy Ray “Tim” Arledge, 64, of Bishopville, passed away Saturday afternoon, May 1st, 2021, while at the McLeod Hospice House with his family at his bedside.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 on Wednesday afternoon, May 5th, 2021, from Calvary Baptist Church.  Reverend Stephen Sanderson will officiate with burial following in the church cemetery.  The family will be receiving friends Tuesday evening, from 5-7 PM at Norton Funeral Home.

A native and lifelong resident of Bishopville, Mr. Arledge was a son of Shirley Lyles Arledge and the late, James Arledge.  Tim loved gospel music; playing or singing were both things he greatly enjoyed.  He also enjoyed being a truck driver and later worked in lawn care.  Tim was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Tracy Arledge of the home; children: Amanda Nielsen of Sumter, Rita Katie (Robert) Orr of Darlington, Jordan Last of Jolo, West Virginia; mother of Bishopville, siblings: Barbara Varnadore, Janet Singleton, and Michael Arledge; also surviving are several grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father; and a sister, Cathy Arledge Wood.
