Bishopville - On the evening of Saturday, May 30th, 2020, Jesus sent His angels to surround Miss Summer Cortez Rojas, age 3, and bring her into His loving arms.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 on Thursday afternoon, June 4th, 2020, from Lucknow Baptist Church with Reverend Keith Allison and Reverend Allen Lynch officiating. The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday evening, June 3rd, 2020, from 4-6 PM at Norton Funeral Home.
Summer was born on March 14th, 2017. Despite her short time on earth, she was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
Surviving are her parents, Wilfrido Cortes & Crispina Castillo of Bishopville; siblings, Thomas Cortez and Halley Cortez.
She will be forever loved and remembered by her parents and siblings.
The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to Hands of Hope for their loving care of Summer.
