Funeral services for Peggy Sue Cranford age 56, will be held Wednesday at 3:00 at the Chapel Norton Funeral Home. Rev. Alvin Rogers and Rev. Marvin Griggs will officiate. Burial will be in the Piney Plain Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Peggy Sue was born in Hartsville a daughter of Jewell Winburn Gainey and the late Mallard Gainey. She was a member of the First Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was a loving wife and mother and loved to travel with the Gospel Group “Shiloh”.

Surviving are her husband, Kenny Cranford, Hartsville; one daughter, Kacey (Dylan Cook) Cranford, Hartsville; her mother Jewell Winburn Gainey, Hartsville; four step sisters, Carol Camp, Hartsville, Peggy (Ricky) Ingram, Cheraw, Debbie (Rev. Jack) Cobb, Cassatt and Barbara Welliver, Hartsville; one half sister, Judy Greene, Summerville; special Cousins, Ivy Blue, Hartsville, Lisa (Robert) McKenzie, McBee, Wilford ;(Joanne) Griggs, McBee and Rev. Marvin ( Marlene) Griggs, Hartsville; Special Uncle, Hubert Griggs; Several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Winburn, Uncle, Olin Winburn, Step Father, C.G. Gainey; Aunt, Iris Griggs.
