Liston C. "Rock" Parker

Graveside services for Liston Clayton (Rock) Parker age 72, will be held Thursday at 1:00 at the Magnolia Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. Visitation will be Wednesday 5-7 pm at the Funeral Home.

Rock was born in Camden a son of the late Clyde Parker, Sr. and Elizabeth Sowell Parker. He retired from Sonoco Products Company after 24 years of service. He was a fun loving person and loved everyone he met and never met a stranger.

Surviving are his wife, Geraldine Cranford Parker, Hartsville; two sons, Chad (Amber) Parker, Bishopville and Clay (Harmony) Parker, Hartsville; one granddaughter, Willow Parker, Bishopville; one brother, Clyde (Margaret) Parker, Jr., Savannah, GA; three sisters, Barbara Thompson, Bethune, Janet Griggs, Lexington and Inez Black, North Carolina.

The family would like to thank the staff at The Carolinian in Florence and The Retreat at Carolina Bay in Hartsville for their loving care of Rock.
