Linda Herring Gardner

Graveside service for Linda Herring Gardner age 70 will be held Thursday at 4:00 at the Gum Branch Baptist Church Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home.  Rev. Jeff Gardner and Rev. Bill Langford will officiate. Visitation will be anytime Thursday from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm at Norton Funeral Home in Hartsville.

Linda was born in Florence a daughter of the late Clyde and Mary Elmore Herring. She was a member of Gum Branch Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Surviving are two sons, Lester Gardner and Joe Gardner both of Bishopville; three daughters, Missy Gardner, Florence, Tammy (Buddy) Atkinson, Bishopville and Lynn Pardue, Kershaw; three sisters, Kay (George) Lyles, Hartsville, Myra (James) Rabon, Elgin and Chyrstal (Johnny) Caston, Hartsville; six grandchildren, Kendra Teal, Hartsville, Dr. Christopher Gardner, Florence, Johnathan Gardner, Bishopville, Rebecca Pardue, Kershaw, Dustyn Gardner, Bishopville and Katie Pardue, Kershaw; two great  grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Claude Gardner, Jr.; one son, Claude Gardner, III and one sister, Beverly Saverance.

The graveside service may be seen live on Norton Funeral Home Face Book.
