Funeral services for Juan Martin Salazar, Sr. age 74 will be held Tuesday at 2:00 pm at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Father Dan Papineau will officiate. Burial will be in Westview Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home in Hartsville. Visitation will be Sunday 2-4 pm at Norton Funeral Home, Hartsville. If anyone cannot attend the visitation on Sunday, friends may visit anytime on Monday between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm.

Mr. Salazar was born in Harlington, Texas a son of the late Lloyd and Ramona Martinez Salazar. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Surviving are his wife, Olga Castillo Salazar, Bishopville; four sons, Juan JR Salazar, Columbia, Ramon Martin Salazar, Darlington, Max Albert Salazar, Hartsville and Ceasar (Jennifer) Salazar, Hartsville; four daughters, Lidia (Ralph) Fernandez, Cassatt, Shannon Fulcher, Acworth, GA, Geneva (Ernest Mosley) Glenn, Clifton, N.J. and Laurel (Ryan) Gilbert, Noblesville, Indiana; 21 grandchildren and two great- grand -sons.
