Graveside services for Brenda Evans Freeman age 68 will be held 2:00pm Thursday at Liberty Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Pastor William Griggs will officiate, directed by Norton Funeral Home. Visitation will follow the services. Mrs. Freeman will be available for viewing anytime after 12:00pm on Wednesday until 5:00pm. The family has respectfully asked when speaking to them at the graveside if guest will wear a mask.
Brenda passed away on May 17, 2021 at her residence. She was born in Hartsville the daughter of the late James Terrell Evans, Sr. and Sarah Dixon Evans. She was a member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She cared for others, more so than herself.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 45 years, Wayne (Pee Wee) Freeman; sons, Jason (Amber) Freeman, McBee, Christopher Freeman, Hartsville, Mark Freeman, Hartsville; grandchildren, Kaleb Freeman, McBee, Kaden Freeman, McBee, DeAnna Freeman, Hartsville; great grandchild, Brayley Freeman; sisters, Diane Faile, Hartsville, Faye (Red) Byrd, Hartsville; brothers, Ed (Jean) Evans, Hartsville, Gene (Peggy) Evans; several nieces and nephews; special sister in laws, Patricia (Flossie) Freeman, Jeanette Crowley, Rhonda (Teet) Freeman.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Jimmy Evans and Marvin Evans.
