Barry John Wood

Graveside service for Barry John Wood age 72 will be held Friday at 11:00 am at Magnolia Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. Father Dan Popineau will officiate. Friends may pay respect to Mr. Wood Thursday April 23 at the funeral home from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

Mr. Wood was born in New York a son of the late Edwin Robert and Rita LaCeil Wood. He was retired from Sonoco Products Company and was a member of St. Joseph The Worker Catholic Church in Darlington where he played the organ and was a member of the Financial Council. He was a Vietnam War Veteran and a  member of the Old Timers Club.

Surviving are one sister, Wendy Wood, Ashland City, TN and one brother Mark Wood, Columbia, S.C.
