Barbara A. Tyner

Hartsville, S.C.

Mrs. Barbara Tindall Tyner age 83 went home to be with her Lord and Savior on October 18. A celebration of her life will be held Monday at 1:00 at the Lakeview Baptist Church. Rev. Ken Hughes and Dr. Tommy Huddleston will officiate. Burial will be in the Westview Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday 3-5 pm at the Lakeview Baptist Church Family Life Center.

Barbara was born in Jackson MS a daughter of the late Bedford Forrest Tindall and Calla Mae Hill Fields. She owned and operated Aunt Barbara’s Day Care Center for 61 years and was in her third generation of children. The Day Care Center was her passion and it reflected in the love her kids had for her. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and was loved by everyone who knew her.

Surviving are one daughter and son in law, Stacy and Mike Gainey, Hartsville; two sons and daughters in law, Rudy and Jayne Tyner, Hartsville and Dr. Tommy and Lucy Huddleston, Gaffney; eight grandchildren, Jason, Rebecca, Jessica, Stephen, Adam, Rachel, Garrett and Zach; two great  grandchildren, Nathan and Sadie; two sisters, Jo Merriman, Chesterfield and Mary Jeff Pierce, Moncks Coroner. She was preceded in death by her husband Rudolph Boyce (RB) Tyner; son, Ransom Hart (Randy) Tyner; four siblings, Helen, Jean, Van and Garner.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Peggy Jo Jordan, who was a special and loving friend.
