Funeral services for Annie Mae Mixon Johnson, age 78 will be held Monday at 3:00 at the Bible Truth Holiness Church. Rev. Hazel Mixon, Rev. Ron Caskey and Rev. Jimmy Perdue will officiate. Burial will be in the Liberty Hill Baptist Church Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
Mrs. Johnson was born in Hartsville a daughter of the late Tommy and Ruth Beasley Mixon. She was a member of the Bible Truth Holiness Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and was a hard worker . She retired from Nytronics after 30 plus years of service.
Surviving are two sons, Jeff (Donna) Johnson, Hartsville, Danny (Teresa) Johnson, Hartsville; one daughter, Teresa Warren, Hartsville; four sisters, Alice Kelley, Hartsville, Paula (Harvey) Galloway, Hartsville, Kay (Calvin) Woods, Hartsville and Rev. Hazel Mixon, Hartsville; two brothers, Bud Mixon, Hartsville and Donnie Mixon, Hartsville; eight grandchildren, Jennifer (Rev. Jimmy) Perdue, Layla Warren, Danna (Justin) Reed, Bridget (Jacob) Ford, Liza Warren, Jenna Warren, Jade Warren and Rachel Johnson; five great grandchildren, Bransen Perdue, Ansley Perdue, Reagan Reed, Ethan Gilbert and Lucas Gilbert. Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her husband Hildren (Junior) Johnson, great grandchild, Ava Ford; three sisters, Phyllis Partridge, Virginia McDougald, and Linda Barr; four brothers, Ed Mixon, Robert Mixon, Wilbur Mixon and Allen Mixon.
The family would like to thank the staff at Morrell Nursing Home for the care they gave to Mrs. Johnson for the past three years.
