Willie “JR” Scott, 72 passed away at home with his family on February 28, 2024.

JR was the son of the late Willie Aubrey & Dorothy Lee Scott of Celina, TN. He was proceeded in death by his brother Kenny Scott, sister Linda Scott, & two brother in laws, Shirley Scott & Roy Johnson.

Surviving are his wife, Patricia Scott, children Ashley Kelly of Hartsville, son, Jason Scott(Kaitlin) of Charleston, grandchildren, Gage Kelly & Dailen Gainey of Hartsville, sister Cathy Boles of Celina TN, sister Connie Johnson of Moss TN, sister & brother in law, Rita & Millie Garner of Burkesville KY, brother & sister In law Frankie & Tammy Scott of Celina TN & many cousin, nieces, & nephews.

JR was affectionately known for his contagious laugh & sense of humor. He enjoyed cooking, fishing, & spending time with his family & friends. He loved both of his grandsons, but Gage was his best friend & apple of his eye, he spent many days teaching Gage to cook, fish, garden, & all about pocket knives.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to McLeod hospice & his nurse Butch for his exceptional care & compassion during this difficult time.
