William Woods, Sr

Hartsville, S.C. Funeral services for William Frank Woods, Sr. age 91, who passed away January 19, will be held Sunday at 3:00 at the Chapel Norton Funeral Home. Rev. Hazel Mixon and Rev. James E. Beck, Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in Westview Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home. Mr. Woods was born in Hartsville a son of the late Artis & Emma Player Woods. He was a member of the Bible Truth Holiness Church. He was owner & operator of Woods Grocery for several years and was engaged in Farming. Surviving are two sons, Calvin (Kay) Woods, Laverne Woods, both of Hartsville; 5 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Hickson Woods; son, W.F. Woods, Jr. and a grandson, Cal Woods.
