William Glenn Moody, Jr.

It is with sad hearts that we announce the death of William Glenn Moody, Jr. age 44. Mr. Moody passed away August 17 at Atrium Health in Charlotte, N.C.

Memorial services will be held Saturday at 4:00 at the Chapel Norton Funeral Home, Hartsville. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Mr. Moody was born in Hampton, VA a son of William Glenn Moody, Sr. and Martha Mixon Hall. He was a loving and out going person, was a caretaker for all of his brothers and sisters and was a good son. He was considered a man of all men and loved his family.

Surviving is his father, William Glenn Moody, Sr. (Vickie), Idaho Falls; his mother, Martha Mixon Hall, Hartsville; his wife, Evelyn Santos Moody, Forest City, N.C.; three children, Aoife Moody, Willamina Moody and Wade Moody, all of Forest City, N.C. three brothers, Justin (Jessica) Moody, Hartsville, Charles D. Moody, Hampton, VA and Dennis ( Rachael) Boan, Lamar; four sisters, Mara (Tip) Moody, Hartsville, Kelly Jones, Dillon, Angelia Hinman, Gaffney, S.C. and Kimberly (Freddie) Higgins, Hartsville; Special Friend, Scott Baughman, Forest City; Aunt, Debbie Bukouinski, Peoria, IL.  Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by a brother, Matthew Jones; one sister Cara Moody; his Paternal Grandparents, William D. & Ethlyn Moody; His Maternal Grandparents, Robert Frank and Annie Lou Mixon.

The family will be meeting at the residence of Mara Moody after the service.
