William Joseph Heustess

Hartsville, S.C.

Mr. William Joseph (Joe) Heustess, age 86, went home to be with his Lord & Savior on August 22 at the McLeod Hospice House. Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 3:00 at the Swift Creek Baptist Church Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. Rev. Jim Murray and Grandson Will Heustess will officiate.

Joe was born in Hartsville a son of the late Ellie Hannon Heustess and Ruth Everlyn Lewis Heustess. He was a member of the Forest Hill Baptist Church and retired from Dixie Cup after 40 years of service. He enjoyed farming.

Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Kay Johnson Heustess, Hartsville; one daughter, Terry Caulder, Hartsville; one son, Todd Heustess, Hartsville; two grandchildren, Sharra (Brooks) Weaver, Lamar and Will Todd (Phoebie) Heustess, II, Hartsville; three great grandchildren, Esther, Samuel and Weston.
