William Barefoot, Sr

View Remembrance Video Funeral services for William Todd Barefoot, Sr., age 50, who passed away Saturday, September 20, 2014, will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, in Cedar Creek Baptist Church. The Revs. Jeff Williams and Grover Johnson will officiate with burial following in the church cemetery. The family will be receiving friends Monday evening, from 5-7 p.m. at Norton Funeral Home. Mr. Barefoot was born in Hartsville, a son of William Glen (Rabbit) and Helen Joyce Johnson Barefoot. He was employed by Sonoco Products Company for most of his life and had a heart for his nieces, nephews, and animals. Surviving are his wife, Darlene Mixon Barefoot of Hartsville; sons: William Todd Barefoot, Jr.(little Todd), and Austin McKenzie Barefoot both of Hartsville; grandson, Jesse Chad Barefoot; parents of Hartsville; sisters: Becky Atkinson and husband, Wayne, Missy Foster and husband, Craig, Nicole Barefoot, April Smith, and a brother, Joey Barefoot and wife, Bonnie all of Hartsville.He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Jesse & Ethel Johnson and J.C. & Martha Jane Barefoot.
