Mr. William Alfred “Freddie” McLaughlin, Jr., 77, of Hartsville, passed away Friday evening, August 3rd, 2018, at Carolina Pines with his family at his bedside.

Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Betty Stokes McLaughlin of the home; son, Perry McLaughlin and wife, Tina of Concord, North Carolina, daughters: Karen Robeson and husband, Bob of Chesterfield, Mitzi Kiehl and husband, Ryan of Waxhaw, North Carolina; grandchildren: Ryan McLaughlin, Reece McLaughlin, Bailey Davis, Brenna Davis, Conner Robeson, Cooper Kiehl, Cameron Kiehl, and Colson Kiehl; sisters, Maxie Jewell Matthews and Vivian Powell; and his beloved dog, Rosie.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
