Wilbur Cranford

Funeral services for Wilbur Edward Cranford, age 73, will be held Friday at 1:00 at the New Providence Baptist Church. Rev. Cliff Leonard will officiate. Burial will be in the Patrick Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. Visitation will be Thursday 5-7 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Cranford was born in Aynor a son of Henry Melvin Cranford and the late Eula Martin Cranford. He was retired from Sonoco Products Company after 37 years of service, was a member of the Old Timers Club and Lakeview Baptist Church. He was a Navy Veteran. He was a loving husband, father, son, grandfather and brother and had a love for collecting arrow heads.

Surviving are his loving wife, Myra Nancy Lunn Cranford, Hartsville; two sons, Jody Edward Cranford, Hartsville and Randy Alan (Robin) Cranford, Florence; two sisters, Geraldine (Liston) Parker, Hartsville and Joan (Wayne) Hopkins, Hartsville; one grandchild, Scarlett Cranford, Florence.
