Wendy Stewart Clanton

Ms. Wendy Stewart Clanton age 49 passed away July 14. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held Wednesday July 20 at 4:00 pm at the Chapel Norton Funeral Home. Rev. Jerry O'Neal will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral Home.

Wendy was born in Hartsville a daughter of Timmie Edward Stewart, Jr. and Dianne Richardson Norman. Wendy was a beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She attended Hartsville High School and worked in retail and had a passion for cosmetology. Wendy had a bright personality, beautiful smile and a heart of gold. Wendy loved to sing, dance and bring joy to those around her and always brought life into a room and made everyone feel like family. Our family will forever cherish all of the wonderful memories Wendy gave us.

Surviving is her father and step-mother, Timmie Edward Stewart, Jr. and Melissa Stewart; her mother, Dianne Norman; two daughters, Carrie Clanton and Elizabeth (Lizzie) Hatchell; three grandchildren, AnnaClaire Cooper, Ella Grace Cooper and Brodie Cooper; brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Candy Stewart; sister and brother-in-law, Chrissy and Kyle Peach; beloved nieces, nephews and extended family. Wendy was preceded in death by a brother, Timmie Edward (Eddie) Stewart III.
