Wanda K. Galloway

Hartsville, SC

     On Saturday afternoon, May 2nd, 2026, Mrs. Wanda K. Galloway passed away while at home with her family. She was 79 years old.

     Mrs. Galloway was born in Hartsville, a daughter of the late Bill & Thelma Wages King. Wanda was a lady who loved being outdoors. Planting flowers and cleaning her yards brought her great joy. She also enjoyed fishing and going to yard sales. Her family recalls her many trips to SONIC, getting her milkshake that had to have a cherry on top.

     Surviving are her children, Lisa Wilkerson and Mitchell Joyner; grandchildren, who she deeply loved: Chris Block, Gregg Block, Samantha Douglas, Kimberly Joyner, Timothy Joyner, Jared Hayes, Josh Hayes, and April Hayes; numerous great-grandchildren; siblings: Pedro King, Joan Mosley, Kay Shannon, Verlie Waynick, Shirley King, and Donald Ray King. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

     She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Homer Galloway; and a daughter, Ronda Hayes.

     In keeping with Wanda’s request, no formal services will be held.
