Walter Dale Sylvester

Graveside services for Walter Dale Sylvester age 84, will be held Friday at 11:00 am at the Wayside Baptist Church Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home, Bishopville. Rev. Buddy Amerson will officiate. Visitation will be following the service and at other time at 129 Woodham Road, Bishopville.

Mr. Sylvester was born in Bosie, Idaho a son of the late Eugene Vernon Sylvester and Louise Kiser Sylvester. He was retired from Sonoco Products Company after 30 plus years of service, was a member of the Old Timers Club and the Sonoco Club. He was an Army Veteran.

Surviving are one son, Todd (Cissy) Sylvester, Bishopville; one brother, Gene (Sarah) Sylvester, Florence. He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Garrett Sylvester; one son, Brad Sylvester and one daughter, Donna Sylvester.
