Walt was born in New Milford, N.Y. a son of the late Walter John Kropa, Sr. and Dorothy Erat Kropa. He is survived by his wife Carol Sue Kropa of Hartsville; one daughter Christy Schultz of Greenville and one son Kevin Sheleman of Roebuck, S.C.
