Vivian Huggins Gladden

Mrs. Vivian Huggins Gladden age 97 went to her Heavenly Home on June 8, 2022. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00 at the Community Bible Church. Burial will be in the Community Bible Church Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home, Bishopville. Rev. Jerry Peacock will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

Mrs. Gladden was born in Bishopville a daughter of the late Roshell and Lucille Brown Huggins. She was a Charter member of Community Bible Church. She owned Parkview Restaurant in Camden for a number of years and was Assistant Manager of Super Dollar in Bishopville.

Surviving are her daughter, Lortetta (Jimmy) Baird, Rembert; three grandchildren, Cheryl (Allan) Summers, Sacramento, CA, Monica Murray, Lexington and Amanda (Eddie) Davis, Rembert; nine great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward C. Gladden; one daughter, Gloria Halverson; one brother, Rufus Huggins and two sisters, Ella Mae Gladden and Alice Dora Braddock.
