Tyrus Ronnie "Ty" Morrell

Hartsville – Mr. Tyrus Ronnie “Ty” Morrell, 50, passed away Sunday evening, November 24th, 2019, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 on Wednesday morning, November 27th, 2019, from the Chapel of Norton Funeral Home with Reverend Hazel Mixon officiating.  The family will be receiving friends following the service at the funeral home.

A native and lifelong resident of Hartsville, Mr. Morrell was a son of the late Ronnie & Brenda Jordan Morrell.  Ty was a Gamecock fan who also loved his motorcycle.  He will be remembered as a man who loved his family and spending time with friends.

Surviving are his sons, Justin (Brittany) Morrell of Hartsville and Clay (Kristie) Morrell Kingstree; grandchildren: Payton Morrell, Talan Laney, Journey Laney, Tex Johnson, Sawyer Morrell, and Harper Morrell; also numerous friends and family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Todd Morrell and Wayne Morrell.
