It is with sad hearts that we announce the death of Tyler Gardner, age 35. Tyler passed away on September 10, 2026.

Graveside services will be held Sunday September 13, 2026 at 4:00 at the Union Methodist Church Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. Rev. Dale McCluney will officiate. Visitation will be Saturday 5-7 pm at Norton Funeral Home, Hartsville.

Tyler was born in Darlington, a son of Dennis L. Gardner and the late Angela West Gardner. He worked in Construction, loved hunting and fishing and dearly loved his family.

Surviving is his father, Dennis Laverne Gardner, Bethune; his Paternal Grandmother, Shirley Gardner, Bethune; his step mother, Tracy Gardner, Bethune; one brother, Corey (Maggie) Gardner, Hartsville; one sister; Charleigh Gardner, Bethune; one step sister, Sarah Howle, Bethune; one nephew, Lucas Gardner, Hartsville.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christ City of Refuge, 1710 Long Branch Road, Hartsville, S.C. or Union Methodist Church, P.O. Box 522, McBee, S.C. 29101.
