Thomas A. Zompanis

Thomas A. Zompanis, born on February 21, 1942, passed away on July 27, 2026, leaving behind a legacy marked by dedication to family and a life well-lived. He is fondly remembered for his unwavering commitment to those closest to him, as well as for the positive impact he had on all who knew him.

Throughout his 84 years, Thomas exemplified integrity, compassion, and strength. He was a loving husband to Gina Zompanis, who survives him. His memory will also be cherished by his children: Tessa Citera, Don Schaefer, Donna Calhoun, and Jean Paul Hervey. Thomas was a proud grandfather to Alessandra Citera, Jacob Darlington, and Danielle Darlington, whose lives he enriched with guidance and affection. He is also survived by his brother, Andy Zompanis.

Thomas’s life was characterized by a steadfast devotion to family, serving as a steady presence through life’s many milestones and challenges. His legacy is reflected in the strong connections he fostered among his loved ones, and the wisdom he imparted upon the next generations.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his influence endures in the lives of his surviving family members. They honor his memory with gratitude for the years they were privileged to share with him.
