Teresa Howle Hickok

Mrs. Teresa Howle Hickok, 65, of Hartsville, passed away Wednesday, December 23rd, 2020, while at home.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 on Saturday afternoon, December 26th, 2020, from Magnolia Cemetery with Reverend Danny Pierce officiating.  The family will be speaking with friends following the service at the graveside.

Teresa was born to Murry and Jerry Mae Howle of Hartsville, South Carolina.  She was a graduate of Hartsville High School, Class of 1972.  Teresa was a dedicated and hardworking woman who devoted 22 years to Darlington County as a telecommunications officer.  Teresa was passionate about caring for others including her family, friends, and animals.  She loved to laugh and spend time with her family.  She devoted herself to being an amazing daughter, wife, and mother.  Teresa will always be remembered for being strong, loving, and fierce.

She is survived by daughters, Rachel Hickok and Janie Hickok; her brother, Murry B. Howle, Jr. (Camille), sister, Tonnie Gainey; and numerous nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Hickok; parents; Murry & Jerry Mae Howle; brother, Forrest Petty, and a sister, Dawn Greer.
