View Remembrance Video Hartsville, S.C. Funeral services for Stanwyck MacArthur Melton, age 72, will be held Friday at 2:00 at the Chapel Norton Funeral Home. Burial will be in the New Market Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday 5-7 pm at the funeral home. Mr. Melton was born in Columbus, Indiana, a son of the late Stanley Melton. He was a Navy Veteran. Surviving are one son, Michael (Hollie) Melton, Hartsville; one daughter, Cynthia Ann Wright, Prosperty; six grandchildren, Heather (Coleman) Boyd, Tiffany (Shelton) Cooper, Dakota Melton, Daulton Melton, Daniel Melton and Jessica (Nick) Ison; four great grandchildren, Madison and Kaitlin Cooper, Drake & Charlotte Elizabeth Boyd; three Nieces, Marilyn (John) Tyner, Darlington, Judy (Leon) Davis, Hartsville and Tran (Randy) White, Darlington; eight brothers & sisters, Joyce (Jerry) Giles, Edinburgh, Indiana, Delores ( Steve) Fletcher, Flat Rock, Indiana, Bonnie Lee, Edinburgh, Indiana, Pam Caldwell, Columbus, Indiana, Buck (Shelia) Melton, Columbus, Indiana, Doug , Daren and Sharon Melton, Columbus, Indiana; He was preceded in death by his wife, Lottie Elizabeth (Libby) Melton; five brothers & sisters, Brenda Melton, Dorothea Crain, Debbie and Kenneth Melton and Shirley Browning.
