Sharon Peters Gainey

It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of Sharon Peters Gainey. Sharon passed away May 15 while at her residence with her loving family by her side.

Graveside services will be held Sunday, May 18 at 2:00 at Magnolia Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. Rev. John Griggs will officiate. Visitation will be following the graveside service.

Sharon was born in Wabasha, Minn, the daughter of the late Marvin Peters and Josephine Stuckey Peters.

Surviving is one daughter, Pamela Marie (Dean) Shoemake, Patrick; eight grandchildren and 18 great grand-children.

In addition to her parents named above, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thornwell B. Gainey; her son, Thornwell Henry Gainey and one brother Allen Leo Peters.
