Rosa Byrd Reece passed away March 3. Visitation will be Sunday 5-7 pm at the home of Van & Joyce Johnson at 1608 Harley Circle directed by Norton Funeral Home.

Mrs. Reece was born in Hartsville a daughter of the late Albert H. Byrd, Sr. and Dell Robbins Byrd.

Surviving are two daughters, Janet Thompson, Hartsville and Joyce (Van) Johnson, Hartsville; one son, Jurmie Thompson, Darlington; two brothers, Willard and Bill Byrd, Hartsville; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Joel Thompson; and grandson, Dargan Brown.
