Graveside services for Mr. Ronnie Paul James age 69 will be held 2:00pm Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at James Cemetery, 192 Hillcrest Lane, McBee, SC 29101.  Pastor Paul Lambert will officiate, directed by Norton Funeral Home.  Visitation will follow the services.  Mr. James can be viewed at Norton Funeral Home anytime on Tuesday, from 9:00am – 5:00pm.

Ronnie passed away Saturday afternoon at his residence.  He was born in Conway, SC the son of the late Robert Weldon and Mary Alma Martin James.  He was retired from S.C. Department of Transportation as a Resident Maintenance Engineer.  He was an avid Clemson Fan and he loved driving his horse wagon around his property.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 28 years, Myra Derrick James, McBee; son, Kevin Ronnie (Latana) James, Conway; daughter, Jennifer Lynn Bryant, McBee; brothers, Perry Lynn (Gail) James, Hartsville; sisters, Terry (Paul) Lambert, Whiteville, NC; grandchildren, Krystal Paige James, Tautieonna Bryant, Isabelle Bryant, Michael Paul Bryant.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Karen Lynn Edenfield, brothers, Timothy Wayne James and Robert Evans James, and one grandson, Kevin Gage James.
