Roger Johnny Gooden, age 65 of McBee, passed away January 20 at his residence. A visitation will be held Wednesday from 6 - 7 pm at Norton Funeral Home, Hartsville.

Roger was born in Hartsville a son of the late Barney and Azliee Butler Gooden. He was a loving father with a loving heart.

Surviving are his wife, Terrie J. Gooden, McBee; daughter Angela Gooden Galloway, McBee; son, Lucas Gooden, McBee; stepson, Joseph Dean, McBee; two siblings, Barney Ray Gooden and Debbie Sullivan. five grandchildren, Zane Galloway, Chance Galloway, Gage Gooden, Gavin Gooden and Sterlin Gooden. He was preceded in death by a brother,Eddie Gooden.
