Ricky D’arcy Davis, born on September 7, 1954, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2025, at the age of 70. Ricky lived a life marked by deep love and a generous spirit. Known for his warm smile and easy laugh, he brought light and kindness to every room he entered. He was a devoted son, brother and friend whose heart was always open to those in need. Ricky found joy in the simple pleasures of life and believed strongly in the value of connection, always putting family and friendships at the center of his world.
Throughout his life, Ricky cherished his time with those he loved most. Whether it was a family gathering, a heartfelt conversation with a friend, or a quiet moment shared with someone dear, he made every interaction meaningful. His memory will live on in the lives of the many people he touched with his care and compassion. Ricky’s legacy is one of love and laughter—a reminder to all of us to hold close the ones we love and to live with an open heart.
He is preceded in death by his parents Rebecca (Becky) Davis and Charles Davis. He is survived by his older brother Charles Davis and his older sister Rebecca Davis as well as his nieces and grand nieces.
Graveside services will be held Thursday July 24 at 11:00 am at the Turkey Creek Cemetery. Rev. John Brearley will officiate.
