Reesie Flowers Carter

Funeral services for Reesie Flowers Carter age 66, will be held Tuesday at 2:00 at the Chapel of Norton Funeral Home. Visitation will be following the service and at other times at the residence at 805 Colony Road, Hartsville. Interment will be later in Darlington Memory Gardens.

Ressie was born in Hartsville, the fourth child of the late Jerome Burdette Flowers and Peggy Flowers Stogner.  She was associated with Hoover Chrysler Dodge Jeep in Florence for many years and for the past 18 years she has been associated with Raceway Automotive. She was a loving mother, daughter and sister.

Surviving are one daughter, Brittany (Jeremy) Hickman, Columbia; one brother, Al (Pat) Flowers, Wilmington; four sisters, Geri ( Frankie) Jernigan, Hartsville, Linda (Chandler) Whittle, Hartsville, Eileen (Joe) Johnson, Hartsville and Kay Johnson, Hartsville. Several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her step father, Pinky Stogner.
