Graveside service for Peggy Lee Gainey age 50 will be held Monday at 3:00 at the Middendorf Church of The Living God Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. Rev. Billy Melton will officiate. Visitation will be Saturday 2-8 pm and Sunday 10-8 pm at the residence at 1841 S. Fourth St.
Peggy was born in Chesterfield a daughter of Dorothy Lee Heustess Gainey and the late Heyward Gainey.
Surviving are her mother, Hartsville; three sisters, Ann Gainey, Hartsville, Geneva Johnson, Hartsville and Marie (Clarence) Griggs, Dovesville; one brother, Heyward (Blanche) Gainey, Hartsville; two step sisters, Marie (John) Welch, Hartsville and Faye (Ronnie) Weatherford, Hartsville; one step brother, Monroe Gainey, Hartsville. She was preceded in death by her step-father, Clyde Junior Gainey and a step brother, Charlie Gainey.
