Pauline Hull Murray

Mrs. Pauline Hull Murray, age 83, went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 2, 2026 while at Carolina Pines RMC with her loving family by her side.

Funeral services will be held Thursday August 6, 2026 at 3:00 at the Forest Hills Baptist Church. Rev. Jim Murray will officiate. Burial will be in the Westview Memorial Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

It is with deep sorrow that James I Murray announces the death of his beloved wife Pauline Marie Hull Murray, age 83. Mrs. Murray was born in Russell Iowa a daughter of the late Leo Ernest Hull and Agnes Palmer Hull. In 1960 While working at the ice cream parlor in high school she met James I Murray, the love of her life. They were married for 64 years. The first 7 years of their marriage they spent in the Navy.

They moved to Hartsville in September of 1969 where she lived the remainder of her life. She worked several jobs in Hartsville including JCPenney as supervisor of the catalog department & H&R Block.

She was a faithful member of Forest Hills Baptist Church in Hartsville, SC for 50 years and also served in various other ministries including a Sunday school teacher for 35 years.

Surviving is her loving husband, her children James E. Murray (Pam) and Michele Jent (John). She was a loving grandmother to James E. Murray II (Taylor), John Crews Murray (Holly), John D. Jent II (Bridgette) and great grandmother to Brayden J. Murray, Addyson Grace Murray, John "Reid" Murray, Abigail Rose Jent, and Judi-Rayne Murray. She is also survived by brother - in - laws, sister - in - laws and several nieces and nephews.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, and three older siblings.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Forest Hills Baptist Church, Vacation Bible School, 325 Forest Hills Drive, Hartsville, S.C.
