Mr. Paul Alderman "Trey" Coward, III, 27, of Greensboro, NC, went home to be with The Lord on Sunday, May 29th, 2022.
The service in celebration of his life will be conducted at 11:00 on Friday morning, June 3rd, 2022, from Emmanuel Baptist Church with Reverends Paul A. Coward, II, Jamie St. Ours, and Joey Colson officiating. A private burial will follow the service in Evergreen Memorial Park of Sumter and the family will receive friends from 5-7 on Thursday evening, June 2nd, 2022, at Norton Funeral Home.
Trey entered this world on Saturday, December 3, 1994 at Parkland Memorial Hospital, Dallas, Texas. He was the son of Paul and Anna Coward. Trey was a loving son and big brother with a big heart for others. He was a dedicated and faithful hands on worker who recently became a hydraulic mechanic in Burlington, NC. Trey never met a stranger, and treated everyone with kindness and respect. He was a huge Lebron James, Tom Brady, Boston Red Sox, and Clemson Tiger fan, but he especially loved the Lord and shared Jesus with others. Trey will be greatly missed by his family and friends who knew him well.
Surviving are his parents, Paul and Anna Coward, both of Darlington, SC, and his two brothers, James, of Greer, SC, and Abie, of Darlington, SC; his Grandmama, Mary Coward, of Hartsville, SC, and his Papaw and Mimi, Jim and Angie Dunn, of Portsmouth, VA, along with a number of uncles, aunts, and cousins too many to name.
Norton Funeral Home & Crematory is honored to be serving the Coward family.
