Patricia Morrell McCathern

Mrs. Patricia Morrell McCathern, 74, of Bishopville, went home to be with The Lord on Tuesday afternoon, February 16th, 2021, while at Prisma Health-Baptist Hosptial.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 on Friday afternoon, February 19th, 2021, from Mt. Hebron Baptist Church.  Reverend Jack Cobb will officiate with burial following in the church cemetery.  The family will be receiving friends Thursday evening, from 5-7 at Norton Funeral Home of Bishopville.

Mrs. McCathern was a native of Camden, but later moved to the Lucknow Community.  She loved to read, retired from the Coca Cola Plant and attended Mt. Hebron Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband of 33 years, Herbert McCathern of the home; children, Keith McCathern and Wes (Becky) McCathern; grandchildren: Heather Snipes, Brett Nobles, Lauren McCathern, and Luke McCathern; step-brother, Tom Morrell.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Janet Snipes.
