Patricia Weatherford Stokes

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Patricia Weatherford Stokes.  Mrs. Stokes age 81 passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2023.  Graveside services will be held 2:00pm Monday, April 10, 2024 at Magnolia Cemetery.  Pastor Kevin Walters will officiate, directed by Norton Funeral Home.  The family will speak to guest following the services.

Mrs. Stokes was born in Hartsville, the daughter of the late Louis E. and Mable Morris Weatherford.  She has previously worked with WBTW News 13, Webster and Rogers Accounting Firm and with Sonoco Products Company.  She loved her family and friends.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving sister, Judy Weatherford, Hartsville; niece, Frankie Abbott, Darlington; special cousins, Dave (Beth) Morris, Charleston, Jay (Tracy) Lucas, Hartsville; several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bobby Gene “Red” Stokes and a brother, Ronnie Weatherford.
