Norton Funeral Home Hartsville, SC Services for Opal Lee Byrd Tyner age 74 will be held Friday, May 11 at 3:00pm at the Chapel of Norton Funeral Home. Rev. Rick Hartsoe will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5-7pm Thursday at the funeral home. Mrs. Tyner passed away May 8, 2012. She was the daughter of the late John Gary and Grace Capps Byrd. She was a member of the Hartsville Church of God. Surviving are Daughters: Peggy (Rodney) Wilson, Cheryl Tyner, both of Hartsville. Son: Gerald (Opal) Tyner, Hartsville. Brothers: Gary Wayne Byrd, Ray Byrd, Carson Byrd, Roger Byrd, all of Hartsville. 6 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren. Predeceased by Sons: Danny and Steve Tyner, brothers, Jimmy, Johnny Alton and Billy Byrd.
