Graveside services for William Curtis Rhodes, age 64, will be held Thursday at 11:00 at the Magnolia Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. Rev. Brad Griese and Rev. Jimmy Beck will officiate. Visitation will be Wednesday 5-7 pm at the funeral home.
Curtis was born in Hartsville a son of the late Julius A. and Sara Margaret Harrell Rhodes. He was associated with Sonoco Products Company, member of the Old Timers Club and attended Chapel Hill Baptist Church. He always referred to himself as the “Old Goat”.
Surviving are two sons, Bill and Joseph Rhodes, Hartsville; one sister, Jane (Richard) Cheshire, Hartsville; two brothers, J.C. (Ann) Rhodes, Hartsville and Wiley Rhodes, Hartsville; sister in law, Gay (Tom) Gladin, Jasper, GA; his precious babies, Maggie, Lucky and Buddy. He was preceded in death by his wife, Manson Marshall Rhodes.
