Mrs. Faye Montgomery

Mrs. Faye Ewing Montgomery, 66, of Hartsville, passed away Tuesday, March 7th, 2017, at her home.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday in Maple Street Freewill Baptist Church of Rockingham, North Carolina.

Faye was born in Carthage, Mississippi, a daughter of the late Paul & Dorothy Boydston Ewing. She spent most of her life serving others as a nurse, a career she greatly loved.

She is survived by her husband, Dan Montgomery of the home; 2 sons: Chris Young and wife, Goldie Finley of Greenville, South Carolina and Mitchell Edward Young and wife, Jennifer of Atlanta, Georgia; sister, Paulette Butler and husband, Sammy of Rockingham, North Carolina; and nieces: Sarah, Cherrie, and Sandy.
