Mrs. Barbara Rhodes

Services for Mrs. Barbara Ann Alexander Rhodes age 72 will be held Saturday at 2:00pm at Lakeview Baptist Church. Dr. Don Purvis will officiate. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery, directed by Norton Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Friday 5-7pm at Lakeview Baptist Church Family Life Center.

Mrs. Rhodes passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at the McLeod Hospice House. She was born in Hartsville, the daughter of the late Frank and Grace Andrews Alexander. She was an active member of Lakeview Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School. She was very active with helping the Oasis Senior Ministry at the church and she was in the Senior Choir. Mrs. Ann taught school at West Hartsville Elementary for 28 years. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Surviving are her husband, Andy Rhodes, Hartsville; son, Drew (Amy) Rhodes, Columbus, GA; brother, William (Mitzie) Alexander, Hartsville; grandchildren, Jack Rhodes, Aiden Rhodes, Gavin Rhodes and Olivia Rhodes.

The family would like to give special thanks to Mrs. Ann's caretaker, Mrs. Lou Adams.
