Mildred Rogers

Mildred Gainey Rogers age 76 went to her heavenly home on February 28. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3:00 at the Clyde Church of God. Rev. Daniel Poston and Rev. Don Childers will officiate. Burial will be in the Clyde Church of God Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. Visitation will be Saturday 5-7 pm at the funeral home.

Mildred was born in Hartsville a daughter of the late Woodrow and Bertha Mae Tiller Gainey. She was a faithful member of Clyde Church of God. She loved her Lord and Savior and loved serving people and had a heart of Gold.

Surviving are four sons, Gregg Rogers, Hartsville, Barry (Norma Jean) Rogers, Hartsville, Christopher (Ashley) Rogers, Hartsville and Bryan (Tabitha) Rogers, Summerville; one brother, Larry (Teresa) Gainey, Hartsville; one sister, Judy (Jerry) Fales, Hartsville; six grandchildren, Liberty Rogers, Jada Rogers, Abel Rogers, Connor Rogers, John Curtis (Missy) Rogers, and Jacob (Jessica) Rogers; two great grandchildren, Mallan Rogers and Harper Mae Rogers.

She was preceded in death by her husband Walter Malcolm Rogers and a brother Marvin Gainey.
