Maxie Lewis Coleman, age 90, US Army Retired, passed away Wednesday July 27, 2016.Funeral services will be held Saturday at 4:00 at the Chapel Norton Funeral Home, Bishopville. Rev. Gerald McAlister will officiate. Burial will be in the Lamar Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
Surviving are his wife, Pearl Watford Coleman, Bishopville; one daughter, Cornelia Coleman (Mike) Folsom, Bishopville; one son, Greg (Christal) Coleman, Lugoff; granddaughter, Sarah Folsom(Carson) Cook, Bishopville; stepchildren, David Parnell, Bishopville, Billy Ray (Kathy) Parnell, Oates and Lori (Bob) Parnell, Ashland; brothers, Jeff (Harriett) Coleman, Atlanta, GA and Johnny Coleman, John’s Island; one sister, Fammie Wierman, Charleston; a very special great granddaughter, Abbie Chapman; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
