Mason Tucker Thomas

Bishopville, SC

It is with heavy hearts that we share with you the passing of Mason Tucker Thomas. Mason was called home to the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, November 4th, 2026, at the age of 10.

He was born in Florence, the son of Victoria Thomas and Anthony Thomas. Mason enjoyed going on fishing trips with his PaPa John and liked playing with Legos. He was definitely a MeMaw Kim’s boy. Above all the things he enjoyed, Mason’s church was his true love. His plans for the future were to become a pastor and a Meteorologist.

Surviving to cherish his precious memory is his mother; grandparents: John and Kimberly Dinsmore, Scotty Wilkes, Tasha and Peter St. Ongen, and Tony and Rebecca Thomas. Also surviving is his great-grandmother, Martha Boykin; his uncle, Joe (Bri) Boykin; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in passing by his great-grandfather, Olin Boykin.

Family and friends will gather at 2 o’clock on Monday afternoon, November 9th, 2026, from the Bishopville Chapel of Norton Funeral Home to honor his life. Reverend Al Sims and Reverend Becky Cromer will officiate. A committal will follow in the Cedar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, officiated by Reverend Nat Brown.  In honor of Mason's favorite color, please wear red to his service.  The family will be receiving friends on Sunday afternoon, November 8th, 2026, from 2-4 at the funeral home.

Norton Funeral Home & Crematory is honored to be with Mason’s family during this time.
