Mary Frances Wright Davis

Graveside services for Rev. Mary Frances Wright Davis age 76, will be held Monday at 3:00 at Mel’s Chapel Cemetery.  Rev. Mary Davis, Rev. Marsha Hardwick and Rev. Verethia Cribb will officiate. Visitation will be following the graveside service.

Rev. Davis was born in Lamar a daughter of the late John Guy Wright and Lillie Mae Atkinson Wright. She worked at Reeves Brothers and farming. She was a former Pastor of Victory Chapel Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and most of all loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Surviving are one son, John (Judy) Davis, Bishopville; three grandchildren, Eddie (Amanda) Davis, Bishopville, Jimmy Davis, Bishopville and Julie Ann (W.B.) Webb, Sumter; Nine great grandchildren; one brother, John Wesley Wright, Lamar; one daughter in law, Patsy Davis, Bishopville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Wright Davis; one daughter, Melanie Brown and one grandson, Michael Davis.
