Mary Ritch

Mrs. Mary Ellen Ritch, 69, of Hartsville, passed away Saturday morning, December 1st, 2018, at her residence.

Graveside Memorial services will be held Friday December 14, 2018 at 2:00 at the Florence Natlional Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home.

Mrs. Ritch was born in the Bronx area of New York, a daughter of the late Frank & Anne Voudy.  At the age of 9, she and her family left New York and moved to the Miami-Dade area where she was educated in the local schools.  In 1975, the family relocated to South Carolina and in 1979, they settled in Hartsville.  She was member of the Eastern Star and enjoyed being a homemaker and caretaker.

Surviving are her daughter, Laura Holland and husband, Andy of Lamar; grandchildren, Vince Ritch of Hartsville and Mark Ritch of Lamar; stepdaughter, Vicky Brown of Interlachen, Florida and brothers, John Voudy of Atlanta, Georgia and Frank Voudy, Jr. of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard F. Ritch, Jr. and her parents.

In lieu of flowers, Mary requested that memorials be made in her memory to the Darlington County Humane Society at PO Box 1655, Hartsville, South Carolina 29551.
