Mary Frances Munn, a devoted high school teacher and cherished family member, passed away on May 19, 2025, in Hartsville, South Carolina, at the age of 91. Born on March 29, 1934, Mary dedicated her life to education and her family, embodying the values hard work, dedication, and love.

A proud graduate of Winthrop College, Mary devoted her life to teaching, positively impacting countless students throughout her career. Her passion for education extended beyond the classroom, as she was also known for her nurturing spirit, particularly towards her family.

Mary was a dedicated daughter and sister, having spent significant time caring for her parents, Eugene E. and Mattie Horton Munn, until their passing. She also had a deep bond with her twin sister, Miriam, who preceded her in death, along with her parents.

Mary had a profound love for the Lord, which guided her in her relationships and daily challenges. She approached life with a tough exterior but a kind heart, leaving a legacy of strength and perseverance.

A graveside service will be held in her honor on May 22, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Lamar Memorial Cemetery in Lamar, South Carolina. Friends and family are invited to attend and celebrate the life of this remarkable woman who touched so many lives through her devotion to teaching and her unwavering support for her loved ones.
