Marie Brown Hall

Mrs. Marie Brown Hall, 60, of Bishopville, S.C. the widow of Carroll Hall, entered into rest on July 3, 2024.

A Famil Led Memorial service to honor her life will be held Tuesday July 9 at 4:00 pm at Savannah Advent Christian Church. Rev. John Gallagher will officiate. The family will receive friends from 3-4 pm prior to the service.

Mrs. Hall was born on August 19, 1963, the daughter of the late Gideon Lee Brown and the late Edith Ann Gilbert Brown. Marie was a beacon of kindness and compassion for all those she met and was always ready with a helping hand. She will undoubtably be missed by so many but none more so than her family that she loved above all else.

Marie loved her four grandchildren more than anything. There was nothing that Marie loved more than a beach day with her grands, a fishing trip or playing ball with them. Her grandchildren were her favorite people. She also loved having her family under one roof during the holidays. She was a member of Savannah where she was very active in the kid’s ministry.

She is survived by her children, Brittany Hall (Holdon Moore), Hartsville and Brandon Hall, Lamar; a special niece whom she raised as her own Laken Menius; grandchildren, Maddox Jeffcoat, Braxton Hall, Michela Hall and Grant Moore; three brothers, Lee Brown, Hartsville, Stan Brown (Myra), Boiling Springs and Jack Brown, Hartsville. Several nieces and nephews. Also her very special people Jessica Mixon, Dale Hopkins and Kelley Israel.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Carroll Hall; infant son, and brothers, Ollin Brown and Howard Brown.

Special thanks to McLeod Hospice staff for their care. Also a special thanks to all the members at Savannah who spent many days helping take her to treatments and doctors appointments and for the many prayers that were offered on her behalf.

“A Life So Beautifully Lived, Should Be Beautifully Remembered.”

Norton Funeral Home and Crematory is honored to serve the Hall family.
