Margaret Smith McLendon

A Graveside Service will be held on Sunday November 8, 2026 at 3:00 PM at Savannah Advent Christian Church, Bishopville, SC to honor the memory of Margaret Smith McLendon. She went to her Heavenly Home on Sunday September 27, 2026 where she is now reunited with her husband Wheeler Wheldon Mclendon, Jr. "Toby".

She was born on Jan. 1, 1936 in Mobile, Al. She was the daughter Of the late Rose Glidden and Howard Smith.

She was a member of Savannah Advent Christian Church. She retired from Reeves Brothers.

Surviving is her daughter, Teresa (David) Dawson, daughter, Pam McLendon and son, Tim McLendon. Five Grandchildren, Stephanie/Dave Pulling, Melissa Dawson, Corey/Deserae Grantham, Matt/Lisa Grantham and Brandon/Vanessa Dawson. Four Great Grandchildren, Trevor Gerard, Cole Gerard, Laci Jane Grantham and Christian Dawson. One sister June Moore and many nieces and nephews and friends, along with Denise Dickenson who she opened her home up to over the years! In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by her siblings, Charles Smith, Billy Smith, Barbara Palmer and Donald Smith.
